Bento #6

Lettuce, grape tomatoes, a hard-boiled egg, and white rice with soy sauce and pepper.

PREP TIME: 15 minutes

Again, prep time can be attributed to the eggs. Let me just start off by saying though how tasty this bento was. And best of all, it was totally unintentional.

See, I wanted to use the grape tomatoes because as you can tell, they're beginning to diminish in freshness. Still lacking in the "vegetable" area of my meal though, I decided that lettuce would work great. And since I absolutely loved using the egg slicer, I thought another hard-boiled egg would go great with the mini-salad.

But then I came across the problem of what I would eat with my white rice. Not having time to redo my lunch, I then haphazardly splashed some soy sauce on the rice and sprinkled some black pepper on top.

And you know what? That ended up being pretty good. I was utterly surprised when I tasted it. Amazing what a little soy sauce can do, eh?

Blogger's Note: Coming across fabulous but numerous sites while in pursuit of my own interest, I tried to create a simple blog that would pull together both the basics and pictures in one place. While this is a new hobby of mine, I hope I could be of help to you as well.
