Bento #5

Broccoli, grape tomatoes, a hard-boiled egg, and white rice.

PREP TIME: 15 minutes (not including rice)

Yeah, last week was a bad week. I kept waking up late so either my dad packed my lunch for me or I ended up not bringing anything at all. Anyway...

This is definitely one of my more colorful bentos, and I must say that I find having three different types of food instead of two really improves the aesthetics of the lunch itself. Who cares since it's going to the same place anyway? Well I obviously do.

Everything in this bento was fresh, even the rice which for once isn't from the night before. The reason why the prep time is so long though is because of the eggs, but the cool part of this for me was that I actually got to use this egg slicer my family has had for years (and that I was always dying to use as a kid). I must admit, even though it's just an egg slicer, that was the awesome-est part of my morning.

Blogger's Note: Coming across fabulous but numerous sites while in pursuit of my own interest, I tried to create a simple blog that would pull together both the basics and pictures in one place. While this is a new hobby of mine, I hope I could be of help to you as well.
